Thomas
J. Angell
Thomas J. Angell graduated from John Marshall
Law School in 1978 and received his LL.M. in Taxation
from John Marshall Law School in 1987.
Mr. Angell has had extensive experience in creditors'
rights and bankruptcy, preparing plans for IRS
qualification, monitoring plan compliance, determining
benefit eligibility, addressing fiduciary issues,
evaluating proposed qualified domestic relations
orders and forming tax exempt organizations. He
has extensive experience with Section 401(a) plans
and with defined contribution plans in the private
and public sector.
Mr. Angell is counsel to the Wisconsin United
Food and Commercial Workers Pension and Health
and Welfare Funds.
Mr. Angell is admitted to practice in the State
of Illinois (1978), the U.S. District Court for
the Northern District of Illinois, and the U.S.
Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
