W. Leathem
William W. Leathem is a 1989 graduate of John
Marshall Law School.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Leathem was an
attorney for Central States, Southeast and Southwest
Areas Pension and Health & Welfare Funds,
and was later senior counsel for the Sheet Metal
Workers National Pension Fund in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Leathem handles numerous cases in various
federal district courts, and has argued employee
benefits cases on appeal in a number of federal
appellate courts.
Mr. Leathem has represented public pension funds
and assisted them in recouping benefits that were
obtained by fraud.
Mr. Leathem is admitted to the Illinois bar (1989),
the Federal trial bar, the U.S. District Court
for the Northern District of Illinois, the U.S.
Court of Appeals for the Sixth, Seventh and Eighth
Circuits and the U.S. Supreme Court.
